Boat Building
Richardsons build and refit motor and sailing vessels from 7 metres to 21 metres.

Chandlery
Our chandlery is open 7 days a week and boasts a wide selection of stock.

Slipway
Our Travelift will lift vessels to 50 ton for short or long term storage, power washes, etc. We also have a tele-handler for efficiently storing vessels and two cranes for masts and engine lift. See our tariffs for a full list of services and prices.

Repairs
We can carry out all repairs to your vessel from removing minor scratches to major structural damage. We can also supply and fit equipment from steering systems to bow thrusters (Agents for Maxpower & Vetus Thrusters plus Lewmar Equipment & many more). We are also available to estimate and carry out all insurance work.

Refits
We offer a complete interior refit service, often working with specialist contractors, Corporate Furniture & Interiors, a specialist is bespoke marine furniture.

Painting
Within our heated and ventilated workshop our staff can re-furbish your craft from varnishing the capping rails to spray painting the topsides. We are an approved application centre for Awlgrip, Joton Megagloss, International and Blakes paints.

Engineering
With our qualified and experienced engineers we are able to carry out all aspects of marine engineering including installations, re-builds, servicing and repairs to any models. (Agents for Beta, Vetus, Mermaid & Lombardini Inboards plus Tohatsu Outboards).

Electrical
From troubleshooting minor electrical faults, to supplying & fitting electronic equipment. We can also carry out complete rewires using reliable and experienced contractors.

Installations
With the range of skills and equipment available to us, we are able to carry out all types of major / minor installations to your vessel.  These can include air conditioning systems, all types of plumbing system and alternative or additional propulsion systems.
