Exciting News: We’re Expanding to Cowes!

As we wrap up another busy year here at Richardson’s Yacht Services, we’d love to share some exciting news ahead of 2025: we’re expanding! After years of growth and your incredible support, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve acquired a new premises at Thetis Wharf, in Cowes – right next to the Floating Bridge.

This move marks a significant step forward for the whole Richardson’s team and allows us to offer even more to the Island’s boating community.

What does this mean for you?

• Enhanced Services in Cowes: Our new location will enable us to bring our fully stocked chandlery and marine engineering services closer to the heart of Cowes, offering greater convenience for customers with boats moored locally.
• Increased Accessibility: No need to travel to Island Harbour for chandlery supplies or engineering support – we’ll be right on the water in Cowes.
• Improved Customer Experience: With additional space and footfall, we’re aiming to make your Richardson’s experience even better.
• Current Services in Newport: All our services will remain running as usual at our Newport site, including slipping, boat building services, engineering and the chandlery.

When will this be happening?

We will be opening the doors early January 2025 – stay tuned for details on our planned open day in the New Year!

Who can you expect to see there?

Our trusted team members Nick, Steve, Katie and Meg will be on hand with us to welcome you to the new location. We’re also pleased to announce plans to recruit an additional marine engineer soon, with further staffing expansions expected in Spring 2025.

Throughout this expansion, we remain committed to providing the efficient, high-quality service you’ve come to expect.
