RICHARDSONS YACHT SERVICES TAKES OVER ISLE OF WIGHT PLASTICS

Wednesday 6th April, 2022 – Richardsons Yacht Services Ltd (RYS) is delighted to announce the takeover of fellow Island-based business, Isle of Wight Plastics.

RYS – a family run business – was established in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight in 1988 and has since become the go-to place for all boat building, engineering and repair work for valued customers across the Isle of Wight and the south coast.

This takeover not only complements but also strengthens the RYS service offering. Their business is built on a solid foundation of hard work, commitment, unmatched industry knowledge and a real ‘love for what they do’ and they intend to carry this into their new venture.

RYS will now be the place to go for all Marine Plastics, Secondary Glazing, Greenhouse & Aviary, Hygienic Wall Cladding, Cast Acrylic, Solid Polycarbonate and Protection Screens for the Isle of Wight.

Carla Richardson, Director of Richardons Yacht Services says: “We are delighted to be taking over Isle of Wight Plastics from the previous owner Peter Eastaff, who has retired after many years of hard work building the business. We see this as another important service that will complement our current business and to help grow our customer base.”
