IW Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Evening

Wow, what a night at Cowes Yacht Haven on Friday for the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for Excellence. 

The room looked beautiful and everyone made their best efforts to dress for the occasion. We met some great people, ate good food, drank lots of wine and watched well deserving Island business receive recognition for all their hard work. 

Richardsons Yacht Services was nominated – alongside Wight Fire & Security and Lifeline Alarm Systems – for the Small Business Award, sponsored by Liz Earl Beauty. We were really pleased to even be there and to be considered for such a brilliant award! 

When Fred Dinenage read out the results for our category we were so happy for Wight Fire & Security, the winners of the Small Business Award. We were not expecting our name to be called out next for the Highly Commended Award! What an achievement. 

One hell of a rollercoaster of a year will be ended with smiling faces and an award we can put on the shelf. Of course we couldn’t have done any of it without our dedicated team and we would like to thank you all for making this achievement possible.

Finally, we would like to say a HUGE congratulations to all the other businesses, both for their nominations and for their awards! What a way to bring 2016 to an end.
